We will soon be equipped with a robotic welding unit, composed of a welding robot coupled to a handling robot, and controlled by the autonomous Jigless System (pictures below)
The principle
The handling robot takes the part to be welded from a table and holds it out to the welding robot.
Once the welding is complete, the handling robot places the part back in its original location and picks up the next part.
The aim
The synchronisation of the two machines ensures that the part is always presented in the best way to obtain a perfect weld seam.
Timing
The objective is to approve the overall machine after acceptance testing of standard parts in an industrial production configuration
The robot is scheduled to be delivered in May and put into service in September.
